OK, there actually isn’t one author… there are a bunch of us!

We are Stephen, Simon, Meag, Alec, Sam, Brian, Jack and Lizzi. We all work together at a company called Nail Communications.

We have been troubled to see the media environment getting ever more toxic. Advancing technology and retreating ethics have made it easier than ever for platforms, products and politicians to manipulate our deep-seated biases.  And while we are all susceptible, kids are particularly vulnerable. 

So we decided to use our storytelling powers to help kids see that not everything that makes them feel bad should. We hope that by getting kids to think about how they think will help them develop better critical thinking skills and emotional resilience and won’t be as easily swayed by external pressures.

Oh, and we also thought it would be a fun bedtime story 😂
